We are excited to announce that we will finally have a taproom location!
The Urban Brew Labs Pilot Brewery & Taproom will be located at 5121 N Ravenswood Ave, next to our brewery production facility.
We have received our building permits and have been working around the clock to get our build-out completed and inspected ASAP! We are awaiting final inspections and pending signoffs, opening soon after!
1. Opening Date?
Early July 2021, date TBA following inspections.
2. Serving Food?
We will be hosting food trucks, but will not be preparing our own food. We will have menus available from local restaurants that you can have delivered. Guests will be allowed to bring in their own food as well.
3. How many beers on draft?
We will be opening with 15 house beers, 1 guest beer, 2 guest ciders, and 1 house seltzer.
4. Dog friendly?
We will be dog friendly so long as your dog is friendly with others.
5. Kid friendly?
We will be kid friendly until 8pm.
6. Will you have a patio?
We are applying for an extended outdoor permit for the space in front of our building on Ravenswood. This permit cannot be issued prior to our liquor license, so we will most likely have our grand opening without a patio. A patio is our highest priority and will be opened ASAP.
7. When will you be open?
We will be open 7-days a week with Monday-Thursday being from 12-8pm. Fridays and Saturdays will be 12-10pm, and Sundays from 12-6pm.
8. Do you have parking?
No. We have limited street parking and we must be respectful of our neighbors, as we are in a residential area. Please utilize public transportation when visiting us.
9. Will you serve alcohol other than beer and cider?
Not yet. As a Production Brewer (Class 1), we are restricted to only sell beer and guest cider. However, the state is looking to create a new class of brewer that will allow us to sell wine and spirits. This bill is passed but awaiting a signature from the governor.
10. Will there be live entertainment?
Unfortunately, due to our zoning, we will not be permitted to obtain a public amusement license from the city.
Lastly, we wanted to express our appreciation to our followers. It has been a long three years waiting for a taproom... We have felt this more than you can imagine. It's coming! Thank you!!
